Hello everyone! So pleased to have found this group for many of the reasons previously listed. I was active on SP over 2 years ago and met my goals. Now I'm back because the weight crept back on - big surprise!
I'm 50, married, childless by choice, teach psychology, live in the country, and share my life with a Newfoundland, 3 cats, Jardines parrot, 4 geese, 2 goats and a llama. I love to read, listen to public radio, am devotee of The Daily Show & The Colbert Report, gardening, and lounging.
My first week back on SP has focused on getting my eating back to reasonable calorie limits. My downfall is snacking in the evening. Now I need to make a commitment to increasing my physical activity. Ack. I have nothing against being active, but I'm hostile to working out. Clearly I need to change my attitude.
