I think you picked a good team! Even if they try and convert you, maybe you can just delete their comments and continue on... Feel free to look around and post anywhere you want!

Don't be overly optimistic that people will bother to read that part of your page and see that you don't need bible verses for inspiration! Many of us have posted those very experiences in the forums on this team . . . you post something stressful or what have you and you are suddenly inundated with people who want to pray for you! As you may have seen . . we all deal with these experiences in our own way.

But seriously, I hope that this will be a team where you can truly be comfortable being whomever you are. In my experience, this team welcomes a diversity of religious and philosophical opinions.

Hi all! I am happy to find a support group where I don't feel I have to tiptoe. I am not anti-religion for others, just for me. Losing weight is hard enough with worrying about my philosophical differences with Spark people. There is a preponderance of bible versing on this site, which made me hesitate to come back. This way if anyone looks at my page, they will see where I am coming from. Don't try to convert me and I won't diss what works for you! But I guess I am "preaching to the converted" so to speak

Now on to business.. I am looking through this group's challenges to join.
