The scale quit moving - another dreaded stall!! So I took my measurements. Down 38 inches since surgery date! Wooooo Hooooo! Success in Change!

Here is a success story for you.... We have lived in our current house for a little over 6 years now.... we live almost 2 miles from the front of our neighborhood and we live on a pretty big hill.... to get to our house, you have to go down a BIG hill and back up the hill.... I had always thought that it would be great if I could actually run from my house to the front of the neighborhood and back.... that seemed like such a HUGE goal, I remember thinking that I would NEVER be able to run that hill.... well a few months ago, after many days of walking that hill.... I DID IT!!!

I RAN ALL THE WAY UP THAT HILL.... not only did I run the hill, I kept running when I reached the top and ran all the way to the front of my neighborhood and back up the hill to get back home.... it was one of the best feelings!!

emoticon SO DON'T GIVE UP.... YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO!

I found success in an area that was the most unpleasant for me -- constipation!
Several Sparkfriends include doses of Smooth Move Tea, and Miralax to regime to ward of the "nogo" I had come to expect.

I now consume Broccoli, Pears, and Flaxseed meal on a daily basis -- and no more "nogo" -- now it's "gogo"!!

Everyone loves a good success story. When I stand at the check out and stare at the magazines, I'm always looking for the story about success. Who made it work? Who is just like me and found a way to fullfill their goals?

Let's take some time to inspire eachother with the changes we've made and how it brough success. It does not need to be weight related-although I LOVE a good weight loss story.

Here's mine today...
I have been going to college for 6 years now. I am finally in my senior year and will graduate in May 2013. I am being inducted in to the Honor Society for adult students this month. I am so proud. It has taken alot of time and strength to get this far. The change came about when a friend said to me, "Stop talking about going back to school, and do it!"

She was right. If we could apply this mantra to ourselves in any aspect of desired goals, we could accomplish anything.
