Hi Holly, to the team. it took me so long to find your thread. I'm glad you have been huddling so I figured you were new.
I haven't been on so much late.y with traveling to North Carolina for my Father in law's 80th birthday celebration.
School starts this week here in Missouri, so after a week of getting settled in, I hope to get back to a routine.
I love to cook up concoctions. I have re discovered the love of dried beans, and the enjoyment of healthy low cost meals.
With portion control (which I have been bad on lately) the menu stretches farther, it is the only cooking enough so the leftovers don't go to waste.
I sort of assumed you have a garden or get fresh veggies. If so, that is wonderful. I love to shop a store called Aldi's around here because they have great deals on fruits and veggies and things like eggs and dried goods. I mostly get all the other dried goods I can't find there at Walmart.
When I can get to Costco I like buying my Fage 0% Greek yogurt and frozen pineapple at Costco. Every day, sometimes twice a day, I have a pineapple yogurt mix with Almond milk.
I might try making my own Almond milk. I bought almonds at a good price at Aldi's a few weeks back, but have not had the guts to try to make it yet.
Again, to the team. Sincerely, Julia
Skinny taste better than butter!
Glad to meet you. I like Farmers Market but sometimes they cost more than going to the mexican Market or 99 cent store. I keep my eye out for good deals. If you need any recipes or cooking ideas, just ask!

Hi I am 30, live in SW Georgia, and wanting to continue eating healthy.
I help mom buy groceries sometimes and we are on a tight budget.
Throw in the fact that I am looking for a job.
So the farmer's market is out of the question.
I am starting to really love my veggies and learning to cook.
So maybe I can make friends and learn to cook at the same time.
Looking forward to getting to know you all. Add me if you want!
Have a good day! Your friend in healthy eating.
