I think almost all of us can say that we've been on some sort of diet, or used some sort of software/video/gimmick to try and lose weight.
I hear about SparkPeople last year, but opted for a go at Peer Trainer instead. Suffice it to say, I'm probably bigger than I was this time last year, and I am now at SP!
I am no different from anyone else out there. I have days where I feel "okay" but lately it's been a lot more of the "oh please don't make me get out of bed!" days.
At 37, I have never been so heavy, or so sick, in my entire life.
So, while I am excited to be here, I am also trying to take it one day at a time. Offer what support I can to others, and hopefully find a little inspiration with some of you out there! So stop by, say hello and let's meet our goals!
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. " - Plato
"You must strive to find your own voice. Because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are to find it all. Thoreau said, 'Most men lead lives of quiet desperation.' Don't be resigned to that. Break out!" - Robin Williams as John Keating ~ Dead Poet's Society
