I bounced around and never broke 200, so I am back with a vengeance.

Welcome back!

We never reach the point we don't need motivation. I've found the "Track you daily goals" forum on the Classy 70's team helps me stay on track. I always have to accomplish one thing to report.

Sharon - I'm glad to see you back. I know if I don't keep active on Spark I slowly slide back into my old ways. By staying active on Sparks I have maintained for almost 3 years. To me it is well worth the extra effort.

Good Luck

Hi, I'm still here, too. Been away for too long, but hope to get back, with making Spark a habit again. I do need this site, as I found out the hard way by not staying active with the site. I have stayed active, but not as much as I need too, especially with the strength training. Glad that we now have a leader again. Hope everybody is doing well.

I hope your list "can't eat" doesn't get too much longer. It really complicates eating healthy.
Good luck and God Bless

Thank you, yes, once a person knows what to deal with it's so much easier. Well, not easy but at least there is no worry about EVERYTHING. emoticon So far I can not eat dairy, no whole grains but thankfully white bread doesn't seem to bother me. I know it's not healthy but it's better than none! And this weekend I learned, no raw cabbage!!!!!!!

Glad to get the group restarted. I've come and gone several times usually when I've been very ill and just let everything slide with a "what's the use" attitude. NO ONE else ever does that do they! emoticon

Anyway, right now I'm in the midst of 2 problems, I've been diagnosed with diabetes and the other one is severe pain. They think maybe gall bladder or IBS. I get more results on Wednesday but I've been in and out of the hospital for 2 years with it now.

Other statistics ~ I'm now 61, still living in northern Saskatchewan in a small town. I have a hubby, a Corgi, and 2 cats. I am a semi-retired Avon rep and review Christian books on a blog. I have lost 40 pounds and then regained 20 because of the past 2 years of eating to soothe rather than to lose. I am aiming to lose 150 pounds in small batches.

Thank you Jandi! I did great for the first year, then once I reached my goal, I slowly started slacking off with nutrition tracking and strength training. So of course, the weight crept up, too. Now I'm participating in a challenge team, works a bit to keep me motivated, but summer has been a big party (!) so I need a little more control with drinking and food intake. Great to see some of us are still around!

I'm still here but have gone to other teams where there is activity. This one just kinda fell by the wayside and went dorment. No used posting a message and no one is there to read it. Sharon contacted me to tell me there was no team leader so I am glad we now have one. I hope you can get it going again.

I've moved to a smaller apartment last June because my rent went up and I could no longer pay, even with cancelling my cable TV last January. Where I am now is HUD housing so my rent is subsidized by the government and I am doing much better. I've lost ten pounds since the end of May, most of it the first month. I live in town now with nice sidewalks to walk and the shopping center is just a few blocks away so I can walk more. Plus this apartment house is only 39 units plus it is on a hill so that is a good workout walking up and down the hill. I sent half of my stuff to auction because this is a much smaller place. I am still getting acquainted here and it is a very nice place to be. I have given away all my big clothes, lost a couple inches around and wearing my smaller sizes and feel great.

Jandi, thanks for taking over the helm of this team! I was never real active when we started, preferring to connect on smaller teams with commonalities such as location or health issue. My greatest success was 25 lbs, but gained it all back after a couple vacations. Now it is more of a struggle. I do track and have recently upped my physical activity. I hope to lose 2# a week.

Good luck to all of us!

Hello Everyone

I reached my goal weight 2 years ago and tried to leave SP only to find myself gaining my weight back..
So after just a short month I started tracking my food and activities again. So far I'ave been able to maintain but I think I have to work just as hard to maintain as I did to lose. However, I find my increased energy and flexibility is well worth the effort.

I hope everyone stays long enough to reach their goals and in the process get to know new people.

I'm still here and have never given up. Sometimes I go inactive, but only based on my computer time...not on my life:) I do have as much to go as I did when I started, but not because I didn't lose it...only because I just had another baby:) I've been losing a pound a week while nursing and hope to safely get back to my goal weight.

I'm back after too long away. I was sad to see how inactive our little group has gotten. I am the new team leader and I want to know who is still out there. If you aren't blogging, huddling, or posting on the forum, I have no idea you're out there! Please reintroduce yourself here!

I'm Jandi. I've been married for 13 years and have 3 children. I married a man who was overweight and instead of my healthy habits rubbing off on him, his unhealthy habits rubbed off on me. LOL I am excited to get back going and improve the rest of my life. I can't wait to get to know more of you!
