Hello. My name is Christina and I am one of the co-leaders here. I joined SP last July after my 28th birthday and a few months after my son's first. I finally came to terms with my new "mom body" (and started buying cute clothes), but decided that I wanted to be healthy to set a good example for my son and to keep up with his ever-increasing energy level. Along the way to being in shape, I lost over 30 pounds and got back down to my high school weight, about 10 pounds less than my goal. Despite what my friends said, the baby belly does go away! SP was the key to losing the weight, but more importantly to teach me about healthy living. (An active overweight person is still in better health than a skinny couch potato!)
