Hi..I'm Terry and so happy to have found this group...meditation has alway intrigued me, but, how do you do it? I get myself quiet...comfortable...relaxed, then ...all the things of life attack my quiet mind... can you suggest any books or any advise that can guide me through this? Thank you all

I have been meditating for ten years or so. There are various reasons for meditation. My reason is basically the same reason that the Buddha meditated. That is the alleviation of suffering. Or, in plain terms, enlightenment. I have discovered the truth to the words "There is nothing to attain".
