Hello, I just got (re)registered on SP and I'm getting geared up to begin a new healthy lifestyle journey once again. I am dealing with some really difficult things in my life right now, but always try to keep a positive attitude and my faith in God. While searching for teams that I thought might be of help to me, I found and joined this one.

I'm 51 yrs. old and live alone, with my adopted kitty (Kodi). I was born and raised in Mich. and moved to Florida 9 years ago. I liked it there and didn't plan to ever move back home again. However, God had other plans for me. In May my daddy was diagnosed with a very rare form of leukemia and given 1-6 months to live. I decided immediately that my place was here with my family. So now, after living with my brother for 8 weeks, I've finally gotten my own place. It's a cute little apartment in a small victorian town that has many helpful rescources, which I plan to use once I get settled in. I feel very optimistic about being back home again, which I wasn't expecting at all.

And now that I'm almost settled into my new place, I want to begin working on my issues again, the most pressing one being my weight and problem with overeating. I have fibromyalgia and deal with some level of pain every day. Some days are much worse than others. But, I've learned that I need to keep moving to prevent the terrible stiffness, which is another aspect fibromyalgia. I know that I would benefit from a regular daily exercise program, but I just can't seem to muster up the energy or the willingness that I would need to accomplish this.

I'm hoping, with faith that I will be able to make some positive changes with the help of SP and some new friends here on the site and with this team. I look forward to getting to know some of you and making some new friends on the team and on the site.

P.S. If you notice that I've posted the exact same thing on other teams, please bear with me. Having FMS and CFS only allows for pretty much the first half of the day for me. So it's hard to keep up with everything. Even when I have more energy I have to pace myself so I don't overdo it, which is just what happened with the move and all. Anyway, I'm just going to do the best I can and not give up.

Glad I found y'all
