Hello group! Hope you all are achieving your weight loss goals. I am attempting, yet again, to shed the pounds! I've been overweight most of my life, and I'm ready for a change. This is my third attempt to use Sparkpeople as a weight loss tool. Because of my location in town (SE Portland/Milwaukie area) and the fact that I don't have a car, it is difficult to get around. I should be doing more walking, but problems with knees prevents me from walking long distances. Add to the fact that I am currently an "active job seeker", joining a gym or rec center is out of the question right now.
I am hoping that I am a little more successful this time around with shedding the pounds. I've been happy with the progress so far, but then reality hits, I get depressed, and the weight comes back.I plan on eating better and exercising more often. I still have a problem with what is supposed to be "right" for me regarding food. But I'm more determined than ever to lose this weight!
