I have read various message boards but never actually tried it. Although I am generally quite outgoing in my work and volunteer activities I tend to be be very private about my personal life, and that includes my struggles with weight. I lost 50 pounds of pregnancy on Weight Watchers in the 1980's and kept it off until I entered menopause. I have been been gradually gaining over the past year and want to halt that process. My greatest challenge will be taking it slow and not burning out in the first two weeks as I have done several times in the past year.
I live with a chronic pain condition (ankylosing spondylitis) and detest any exercise except stretching and would appreciate any encouragement and ideas. I'm looking forward to better success this time since I know it will be a lifestyle change because I won't be getting any younger.
