I agree, this is hard work at times, but well worth the effort!! The ladies here are supportive and helpful, and they all understand the struggles we face in making this change in our lives. I can't say enough good things about SP, but I am still as excited today as I was 4 months ago when I first started. So jump on in cause we are all on our way to success!

Welcome Deborah.... well, if you have to be tall, I am in the wrong place also. I am just 5 feet tall and I sure I am shrinking!! I started out as big around also. But I have lost 60 lbs and loving it. Sometimes is a big struggle to stay focused... but I look at myself and know how different I feel and say it is all worth it. I am struggling now to lose the next 40 lbs... but I will get there... We will all do this together.... then Oprah here we come!!!

Deborah-Welcome to the BGC. We welcome every shape and size here for sure. We have just started an 11 week Halloween Challenge you are welcome to join in. Come Chat with us and feel free to jump in anytime. We love to get to know you. My advise on starting with SP is to use the trackers for calories & fitness they have really helped me to stay on track and focused on my goal. I am 3 lbs aways from a 20lbs loss in about 4 months. A lot of hard work but way way worth it. You will have good and bad days but you will have us to lean on & cheer you on. Again welcome and good luck!

Boy I'm glad I found you guys, but you have to tell me that being a 'big girl' doesn't mean I have to be tall cause if it is am I ever in the wrong place. It's amazing how much weight can be packed into one short body. Which brings me to why I'm here..... I'm desperately seeking to lose 80 lbs or so (if I get to 79 and I'm stuck I'm not going to complain). I'm hoping that I've made all the right moves in the past three days. Food plans; check. Curves, check. Supportive family; check. A buddy to diet and workout with; check. Naked pictures of myself to really ensure that this time I stay on some sort of plan (I've tried them all and I'm sure I'm not the only one here who can say that); check.
I think I've found the way to get myself on track, just have them pictures hanging around. Motivated me all to heck.
Anyway, hope to get to know some of you over the coming months, I know I'll need encouragement and I'm happy to give a cheer and a shoulder whenever it's needed.
