emoticon I Started beading about 6 years ago, to help me stop drinking. That worked, haven't had a drink in over 5 years. Now I am beading to stop/control my eating. When you are string beads you can't eat. Do have a problem with getting enought water down. I sell some of my jewelry, but mostly give it as presents. My daughter opened a Dress shop in New York last year. I sent her some of my creations. They sold very well. I am retired, so beading is a hobby, not a business. I have 3 cats, so it was necessary to get a rolltop desk. I can keep my beads in plastic boxes in the drawers and use the desk as a work top. When I leave to do something else, I just close the rolltop and the kitties can not play with the beads.

Lord, bless my diet buddies and help me met my weight goals

Hello All,
I've been a jewelry maker for about the past 10 years. I love making my custom jewelry. This year I have had more vendor shows then I ever had in the past. I'm 51 years old and have 30lbs that I'd like to lose. I had lost 50 and gained back 30 after my back surgery a few years ago. Of course I'd like to blame it on the surgery but that wouldn't be honest.... the reason I gained back the weight was totally due to life style choices. The main one not getting enough exercise. SO, I'm going to get back on track and lose this weight. I need to for a lot of reasons..... that's why I'm here! emoticon
