Because I am a full time student...and I don't have a car right now my mornings start way early and I don't get home 'til late in the evening. so my breakfast usually consists of 2-3 cups of coffee...but I try to make up for it on my days off (fri, sat, sun) by eating a healthier breakfast then!! :)

I am behind so playing catch up. :)

This week I had two different breakfast's. First option is mini wheat bagel, peanut butter and banana with a glass of milk. YUM! The second option is my almost everyday breakfast of oatmeal, milk and dried cranberries. Looking forward to this week when I try out a new dried berry mix in my oatmeal. :)

So far today I've had

2 pcs. of bacon
1 pc. of pancake
3 cups of water.

I have some oatmeal but I may eating a little later.

You know, they say that if you eat a good breakfast, chances are you won't overeat at dinner. Sadly, it's not the case with me. I can easily go without breakfast and not feel deprived. On the contrary, I would eat less at lunch and dinner. But with me you never know. I could eat breakfast and still overeat at dinner and visa versa. I'm still learning about my body and how to keep my impulses to eat mindlessly at bay. So far, I learned I have to be focused at all times.
What I had for breakfast today:
3/4 cup of organic multi grain squares
8 raw almonds cut in halves
1/4 of a 1/4 cup of dried cranberries
1 cup of almond milk
1 tablespoon of freshly ground flax seed

One step at a time.

Until I joined SP and became serious about my health, I rarely ate breakfast. Even as a kid I didn't eat breakfast, it just made me hungrier the rest of the day. I have been overweight most of my life and remember being on diets in grade school.

Now that I am working on a healthy lifestyle and not a diet I eat breakfast everyday. Usually a bowl of cereal, but this is what I had this morning:

1/2 Cup Egg Beaters
2 Slices Turkey Bacon
2 Slices Lite Wheat Toast
8 oz. 2% Milk
8 oz. Orange Juice
8 oz. Real Coffee
1 tsp. Creamer
and 1 Tbls. Real Butter

My current calorie range is between 1600 and 2000 calories. I have never eaten this much food......ever in my life.....and lost weight. But I am now. I've lost a total of 11 pounds and love it.

It was hard to train myself to eat breakfast, but if you are someone who doesn't eat breakfast I encourage you to start. It really makes your day better.

I have a hard time eating breakfast since I am always on the run. Most times I may grab something to munch on or pick up a sandwich at McDonalds or Chick-Fil-A. Just the other day I realized how much sodium and calories are in one of these sandwiches. I am not a real breakfast (egg, bacon, toast...) eating kind of girl. But if I want results than I need to work on everything that I do that includes eating habits beginning with my first meal of the day. I feel a good breakfast is as important as a good workout daily. If I do well for breakfast that will encourage me to do good for lunch too. So today I had

a bowl of Fiber One honey crunch cereal with 2% milk
1 hard-boiled egg
1 slice of honey oat bran toast with margarine & jelly
3 cups of water

I am sure you have all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I guess what you eat for breakfast can set the tone of the rest of your day. Some times we don't have time to prepare it so we may skip it. I think part of this journey to health and lifestyle change includes breakfast. First of all we are not in diets. Diets only work temporarily. What we need is long-term results which we will only get by changing our ways. Why not start with breakfast which for most of us means the beginning of our day. Let's make sure we do not skip breakfast and lets make sure we include fiber in our breakfast and not go crazy with the calories.

Let's use this thread to share what we have for breakfast and how was it.
