Thanks so much for the warm welcome, YESI! And CONGRATULATIONS!! on the weight you've lost so far...that's a good way toward meeting your goal. We're alike in sharing that need to really overhaul the way we've done things throughout our lives...I can relate.

You look adorable in that hat, Jenn! It's nice to meet you here, and it's so true...it's so much easier to keep track of what's going on in a smaller group. One of mine is huge...and I'm lost in it!

Welcome to the team HeartofGoaled. I don't get a chance to post too often because of work and having a little baby at home but I do read all of the posts here and this group is so motivating. I also like that it isn't too huge because we can actually get to know each other and really be there through it all. :)

WELCOME TO OUR TEAM! I myself have to lose about another 80 lbs so far I have lost over 15 lbs. It has been alot of work. I know I can be doing alot better if I restrict myself more but I also want to keep it real "Rome wasn't built in a day" and still be able to eat things I like with moderation and of course less often (treats). I have to learn to eat more vegetables and fruit. I have to basically change what i have been doing all of my life. I cannot do it overnite so I am taking it One day at a time because I cannot handle more than that. I hope here you find the motivation and cheering you need. I'm glad you joined the team.

Long-term Goal: To overcome my hesitation and stay focused long enough no matter what happens in my life.

Medium-Term Goal: Reaching my goal 5% at a time.

Short-Term Goal:
*Drink my water daily
*30 min Exercise (and work my way up) 4 times/wk

I couldn't resist looking at this team when I saw its name! I want to lose 44 pounds (having made a little progress) and it seems so overwhelming, tens and tens of pounds. But I'm a firm believer in consistency...and the power of 24-hour progress. So I'm glad to find some kindred souls here and look forward to getting to know you.

I'm in my fifties, a wee tad arthritic, and I've been around SP for a while. But I've made almost no progress, thanks to the way I've sabotaged my efforts :) I look forward to turning that around and seeing the scale reflect steady, day-to-day work.

Is it just me, or do Buffalo wings taste like chicken?
