Hi I'm from northern Illinois and really love veggies. I have a prairie garden in the front yard and a woodland garden in the back. There is a little space for veggies on the south side of my house. Part of the garden has run-away lemon balm growing in it. I put some oregano in front and I have to watch that too. I've been incorporating greens in with the prairie in front. Oh I also have 2 rhubarb plant in back that I've been harvesting and cooking up and putting in my oatmeal and applesauce.

I love to garden and am looking so forward to learning with you! Gardening is so great because you get exercise and you get to see results from your workout and best of all what you accomplish in the garden. It's instant gratification, especially when your little garden grows!!
Hi all, nice to find this group...My name is Pam and I love to garden and right now the weather is so nice I want to start my veggie garden..but alas we still have many freezing nights left. I live at an altitude of 3500 feet and just 10 days ago we had 8 inches of snow. But I have planted several bulbs this past couple of days and that has help the itch to get started.
