Chicago is still in the 30's at night. My family room has become my little garden waiting for the weather to break. Monday it was in the low 50"s and overcast, but we have the garden turned and waiting for the plants.
Welcome to the team! Kansas has had a cool spring too. In fact last night we had frost warnings!! I went out and put flower pots on top of my small tomato plants. They looked fine later this morning. This was a little late for a frost for us. But not real unusual..... JO
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Hi.. here in Northern Oregon we are impatiently waiting for it to get warm enough to put the garden in.. but it is not happening yet.. maybe another week or two.. Thankfully the spinach , carrots and beets are coming up so all is well.. The peppers and tomatoes sit in pots protected and waiting with me... The flowers thankfully don't care so much about weather.. the roses are budded and showing color.. The roses and I have traveled many roads together.. a couple of them are at least 26 and started the journey in Idaho.. Like the plants I am ready for a new season and new growth in my life! Thanks for the welcome!
