I want to be the person my Dog thinks I am!
Welcome to the Team. Your plants look awesome so you are doing a good in that Texas heat! I am Sunny from Northeast Missouri. We had August temps last week but the temps have been better this week - today only 76 when I was driving home from work.
Nice to meet you. You will love the team so jump right in and make yourself at home. I took a moment to look at your photos and your art work is very good. I especially liked the American Flag and the Sunflower (go figure).
(I raise ornamental Sunflowers and have 22 varieties planted which I will share photos of when they start blooming.)

Welcome to the team. It's always interesting hearing how people in other parts of the world garden. I'm in Ontario, Canada, which has not been hot or sunny much so far this summer but I'm on vacation now so I'm hoping it improves soon so that I can tend my wee garden.

Can't find me - I am always in the garden:
Welcome to Veggies & Blooms team, Stillflyin. I know what you mean about that hot weather. Here in Georgia we've had some pretty sweltering days lately.
Container gardening is a good start. They are easy to manage. Good luck. Hope to see you posting.
Welcome and happy gardening.
I'm new to the team and this is my first real try at growing stuff. I've tried in previous years, but this is the first year that anything actually grew.
So far, I've planted a big homemade self watering container with tomatoes and squash. I also planted several smaller containers and a couple of trees and the start of what might be an herb bed.
I'm in west central Texas and we've already spent too many days over 100°. Very challenging to keep everything happy and growing.
It's all just so much fun and excitement!
