On the home page is a place for you to post photos too so hope to see some of your gardening there.

Take care and again emoticon to our Team.

You are south of me about an hour. Did you live in Texas for a while? My folks were from East Texas not too far from Nacadoches.

Nice to meet another Missourian.

Hugs, Sunny

HI Sunny!

We live south of Bowling Green and north-west of Silex. My landlord dug up a patch of pasture for me and we are still pulling lots of weeds.

We have tomatoes, strawberries, peas, spinach, zucchini, bellpeppers, gourds and butternut squash in my vegetable garden, plus lots of herbs.

I too grow sunflowers, but more to feed the birds in Winter. I am experimenting with some seeds I collected in Texas many years ago, only some sprouted and I do not know what they are. Lots of annual flowers and perennials.

Since we are renting, I can't plant everything I would love to, but maybe in the future.

Hi Zoemom37 - I am Sunny from Missouri also. I live North of Hannibal and West of Quincy, Illinois. Zone 5 is a great zone for gardening. Are you growing vegetables or flowers?

I look forward to getting to know you and talking to you about Missouri Gardening. So glad you have joined the team. Good luck on your weight loss/fitness goals.

We just moved to Missouri and have a garden here for the first time. I used to garden in Germany and Michigan, and loved to make my own Spaghetti Sauce and canned veggies, but this is new territory for me.

Anyone have any tips for me? They would be more than welcome.
