I'm Tina over in beautiful Washington state, I am over across the water from Seattle.
I'm a novice gardener. Last year was my first very own vegi garden (it was a learning experience), although I always was forced to help in the family garden growing up. LOL I always swore I'd never have my own garden, well...never say never. :D
We bought our house 5 years ago and the flower beds were over-filled with an odd choice of plants. I finally have the time (and energy) to address them (or start anyway).
Recently, I emptied out one overgrown bed filled with big shrubs and last night I planted a few perinials and annuals. I wasn't really sure what to buy or where to place them, so hopefully they grow okay. I also divided and moved a few poppy plants; although they look rather wilty today.
Next week we start tilling and planting the vegi garden.
