What zone would Great Falls, MT be in? Our springs are pretty unpredictable. My home is set into a hill facing E--edge of town--open country E, SE & SW. My "gardening" has been a dark comedy for years. Hail, grasshoppers, gophers, drought;the well quit in the hottest summer ever (lost the flower bed my friends planted in honor of my mom 6-06) OA knees are a current challenge. This spring is forever hopeful!

Welcome zone 5A here! We planted some of our big garden this past Saturday and the "ouch" is better today than yesterday! IT was wonderful! Today cold, windy and rainy so glad my daughter pushed me to get the potatoes and onion sets in.
Today was gorgeous--54 and no wind here in Great Falls (by Rocky Mtn Front). This seems to be a very supportive site in many ways. Looking forward to getting to know you.
