I am in zone 5b. We usually start sparing early spring once the chance of flooding has passed. I live along the river so some of my land gets pretty wet in the thaw period of spring. Once we are in the normal spring rain time ( april) we spray the lawn and trees.
** Be sure to check your labels and maybe even visit the website of the spray maker. THEY have wonderful information available.

I was wondering when I can start spraying the weeds in my yard to kill them? I live in Utah, in the Salt Lake Valley. It's been rather warm, the snow is all melted, but is gonna snow again. They say that it could possibly snow tonight, and the winds are out of control. Obviously today isn't a good day, but do I have to wait until it warms up for good to make sure the weeds are out of dormancy, or can I spray the bright green bastards soon?
