I've been diagnosed with Generalized Panic Disorder since I was 16 and I've been on Klonapin since I was 18. I have horrible coping techniques that often involve a lot of broken items and dents in the wall, as well as a recovering problem with cutting.
I honestly need to find better ways to cope with this. Feeling my anxiety just crawling under my skin like it did yesterday was insane. Does anyone else get a pain in their stomach? Or do you get really irritable when you have bad anxiety?
Loud radios, TV's or loud voiced make my anxiety sky rocket.
I don't like going out into public, and I HAVE to look presentable when I do. It takes me forever to meet new people or even feel like myself around them. The first handful of times I do hang with new people I'm always jumpy, I have my arm around my waist, and I can barely relax enough to enjoy myself with how tense my muscles are.
Sometimes my anxiety is so bad I can't wear certain clothes. Specially tighter clothes. I also have Tourettes Syndrome so if my anxiety gets bad my tics get HORRID.
I would GREATLY love the support of this team. And I'd be willingly able to help you guys all out too! Even if I have horrid coping ways, I'm a veteran to Panic Disorders. ;-)
