I find what helps me with goal setting ix to take 10% of your original body weight and set those as goals so for example if your original weight was 250 lbs than 10% of that would be 25 and you would make every 25 lbs a goal. I also like to make goals for going down category wise in the bmi and what weight I will achieve it. It helps to keep me motivated and I hope that it helps you.

Hello and emoticon Sara! Glad to meet you! I once had panic disorder and so to a degree I understand the anxiety that comes in having to leave the house. Though I have recovered I still deal with anxiety and OCD. I personally don't like going to the gym other than to do water walking.

Anyhow, like Patty said there are many many videos here at SP that you might be able to do. especially the chair exercises and stretches. I have tried Leslie Sansone walk at home DVD's in the past and had great results. The moves are simple for the most part and there ways to modify if necessary. One of my spark friends Loves Chair Dancing DVD'S and another sparker swears by them and has lost a lot of weight.

I know it seems like you have a mountain of weight to lose but try looking at it 5-20 lb increments instead of looking at whole picture! Believe in yourself! emoticon

I am agoraphobic an this makes it very hard to leave the house. I enjoy workouts of wii dance, lifting arm weights, and wii fit plus. Wii fit has some really good and intense workouts! Hope this helps. :)

Hi my names Sara and I'm a 24 year old single mom with a severe panic disorder. I'm at about the highest my weight has every been, which is what is was when my daughter was born. I also gained 64 lbs while prgnant so I have a lot I want to lose! I have a major problem with working out because everything causes me to panic so I'm hoping to get some idea/support here. Thanks!
