Hi and welcome! I also take the generic Zoloft and have been taking it for quite a few years. I haven't had any negative side effects so far, but have had to increase the dosages due to other negative issues in my life -- but I wish you all the best and let us know how they work for you!

I'm not new to spark people (but this is a new start for me). I always thought I was anti-social and had low self-esteem. After seeking counseling at my university this past spring and summer I've come to realize it is anxiety that I suffer from the most. So I have been put on Zoloft.
Its been 3 weeks and I'm not sure if I see any difference. I start classes again on the 27th. For the most part I have no way to test these meds until I am there.
Has anyone had success with Zoloft for anxiety? Any side effects you have had?
I've also started working out again (long walks and yoga) and meditating to calm down and de-stress. I hope this will get everything under control this fall!
