Hi and welcome to the team. Different people learn to deal with anxiety in different ways. Reading others' blogs may give you some insight into what others do. Exercise, eating right and getting enough rest are definitely on the priority list. Also, make sure you find something you enjoy doing and make sure to do it regularly. Good luck to you.

God grant me the serenity to change the things I can, to accept the things I cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I have been on SparkPeople for a couple months now however I just recently decided it might benefit me to join this team. I never experienced anxiety my whole life until this year so it has been quite a change since it first began in February. I started having some health issues that scared me so bad even though it turned out to be GERD and costochondritis; It seemed so much worse at the time. I now have health anxiety because my health is the only thing that gives me anxiety. I have been diagnosed with white coat syndrome because the stress of the doctors raises my blood pressure. Plus I get worried about any symptom I have, and then I Google it, it makes it worse, then I am stressed, and it becomes a cycle. One I desperately want to break. I do not know if anyone else has experienced similar things but I hope to find others to relate with. I also would appreciate any help or advice in dealing with anxiety especially while on this health journey. I wish the best to everyone dealing with anxiety!
