I have to be on meds for my anxiety...However I don't need the entire amount that I am prescribed. My as needed dose I often skip and try to deal with the anxiety in other healthy ways.
Here is what I have found helpful....walking or any typr of cardio, deep breathing exercises....there is square breathing & the counting loop, drink chamameal tea, hot bubble bath, candles, soft or relaxing music.
