Hi and welcome to the Dealing With Anxiety Team. I wish for you the best of everything on your journey with us. Sometimes it takes awhile for a new prescription to work. If you've been on it for about a month and don't feel a difference, talk to your doctor. Maybe another one might be better for you. Good luck with that!

Hi all!

My name is Lisa. I'm a 23 year old graphic designer from England.

I'm new to this team and wanted to say hello, Nobody else I know suffers with anxiety so I feel rather lonely, specially when they don't understand and just think I can "deal with it"

I have been to my doctor for my depression and have medication, he has just put me on Diazepam or Valium as most people call it. Not doing much for my anxiety but we shall see how it goes.
