God grant me the serenity to change the things I can, to accept the things I cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Welcome to the team. This is a wonderful place to get the support and encouragement from those who walk in shoes similar to yours. I have moderate social anxiety as well as PTSD. The thought of public speaking terrifies me so you are ahead of me. It may be hard to do but try to remember that most people won't be looking at you. I think those of us with anxiety are more prone to being extra sensitive. I am amazed at how different people respond to different types of anxiety. I can go several places but not with people. I will go to my safe places alone but will avoid the trip if someone wants to go with me. We are here for you and hope that you will feel comfortable to share with us.

Good Evening, I joined SP like a year ago but didn't really link up with anyone out of shyness. I picked up some workout dvds and have a good amount of workout equipment so I figured trying this with a better outlook may work. I'm tired of my thighs and belly I hate being a size 7. People think I'm crazy when I type that but I use to be a size 0,1, and 3. People call me L.A. cause I don't like my real name. I have a little puppy who I love and a fiance too. I'm not diagnosed with anxiety but... People scare me, even nice ones lol. I always think they're thinking something bad and I hate eating in front of them out of fear they're looking at me and I'll drop or spil something but never have so I'm sure its some level of social anxiety meanwhile I don't fear public speaking... Freaky huh? lol
I didn't know this team existed but I'm happy to be a member.
Feel free to add me and chat sometime :) hope we can all support each other
