to the team. I appreciate your sharing yourself with us. Several close friends and family members to me have OCD. I have PTSD another type of Anxiety. So many of these disorders are triggered by trauma. Thank you for explaining about OCD because I often have not been as understanding of them as I should. I look forward to seeing you with us. Enjoy the team and the Spark People.

I have a few disorders that are associated with anxiety and mostly my anxiety can take control over my life if I let it. I can be a bit OCD at times. I love order and if things are not how I think they should be whether it is with school, home or my relationship, I tend to get a bit cranky and short with myself and my BF unfortunately. I hate this disorder. Without my medication I can be a bit of a wackadoodle, I can't focus and I feel like I am spinning out of control it is not pleasant. Like most it came on in my early 20's was triggerred by a traumatic experience and my mother and brother suffer from it but on a more severe level sad to say.But one good thing is I have to be on track or else it will only get worse so my life needs to simplified and functional. I sympathizes with anyone who has anxiety or panic attacks or who has a loved one hat deals with with general anxiety.
