I felt compelled to go back to school for nursing, after 2 kids and 10+ years of marriage, but the freshmen 15 pounds was 35 lbs on me. As I prepared for graduation, I noticed my husband's growing interests in social networks, chatting with old girlfriends, and porno, rather than me anymore.
Just when I thought I had it all together, I could have let it all fall apart or aimed inwardly at myself (not in a good way), however, I take the lessons I've learned in school seriously and I've had enough of stress dieting and am in for the lifestyle change.
I've already lost 11 pounds from sheer nerves and worry, the next loss will be through lifestyle change, and hopefully with a bit of help I'll be able to accomplish my goal of a healthy life, a healthy body, and a career in health.
Don't allow yourself to wake up with yesterday's issues on your mind. Refuse to live backwards, everyday is a new chapter.
