Thank you for the responses! I did not expect to have anyone comment actually! Does anyone have any advice for getting used to the site? Is calorie tracking/ exercise tracking really necessary? I write down what I eat and what I do for exercise each day, but I don't think I have the time or patience for calorie counting!!
I'm so glad you have joined Spark because this is an amazing site to help motivate anyone. I wasn't even interested in loosing weight when I joined, I was just stuck behind my computer because i had had an ankle fusion. I have now lost nearly 10Kg and have become a Spark junky because this is a wonderful place to grow healthy
to the team and to Spark People. This is such a wonderful site and you are going to meet some wonderful people here. There are many great motivational articles and your Sparkfriends will keep you on the straight and Sparkly road. Take things slow and enjoy learning to find your way around the site. There are many great instructional videos to help you and great teams for encouragement and challenges. We are here for you. Join in and enjoy the journey!

Hi to everyone, I am new on this site and am a bit nervous about posting! I am open to suggestions (including tough love when necessary) =) and am excited to finally take this step to further my weightloss goals. I am hoping to find some motivation by doing this and am hoping that I can return the favor to others.
I m pretty familiar with exercise and healthy eating habits, but I am at the point now where I need some help with getting past a plateau (of both weight and exercise)!
