Thanks for the well wishes all!
I found out that my health insurance probably won't change until May. So I might go back to an occasional therapy session. I was only going about every 6 weeks as it was.
I broke my phase 1 diet on SB today to have 2 beers with a friend. But I got in a lunchtime work out which helped my mental state. And getting together with friends helped to complete the package. Between everything...Anxiety started at an 8...and now is about at a 4.
I'm sure I stalled out a bit on the weight loss. As long as it's not a patten!! Excuses and reasons to cheat is how I gained weight! Healthy lifestyle is my new cope to anxiety!!! Wish me luck!

emoticon Emily! emoticon It's great to have you with us! It sounds like you are going through a lot of changes. I can tell you from experience that it's less stressful to make one change at a time. You will find lots of support here. I encourage you to keep your therapist if at all possible. Perhaps you could see her/him less frequently; once every other week or once a month just to keep in check. I understand financial issues though, so please do what you feel is best for you.

I'm excited you have found us and I hope to see you posting alot so we can get to know you better!

Hi there...I've been off SP for awhile. Just getting back into it after the first of the year. Starting by doing South Beach & have success.
Although I wonder if my success is actually due to my increased stress & anxiety levels. :( I've recently gone off Lexapro and found the holidays weren't the best time to do that. But I survived (although felt mini-anxiety attacks coming on for a few weeks). I still have my xanax in my purse...sometimes just knowing it's there is enough.
But now in an effort to save money...I've stopped seeing my therapist.
I'm questioning that now as I enter into a difficult relationship. So now I'm reaching out to this group to help give me the support I need. (and help keep me healthy in my eating choices...somewhere between over eating and under eating!)

You can't keep doing the same thing and expect different results.
