Hello, I'm Jennifer and my panic problems have been coming back recently. Since around 2006 I've been learning to live with severe recurring depression and anxiety attacks that make me physically ill and keep me home from work.
I don't know anyone else that feels like this so I started searching for a team. The attacks happen when I'm sleeping and currently I've been off prozac and all other medications since March. I've been clean and healthy. Recent triggers led me to my doctor today and to this message board. The last 2 nights the panic welling up has been unbearable and left me physically sick (you would think I had food poisoning for 2 days). Breathing, stretching, journaling, yelling outloud for my body to simply STOP didn't work. So I have a little prescription for the next few weeks to stop this set back. Yes my exercise output has dropped dramatically since this started creeping in again, yes exercise really helps. Tomorrow I will hit the gym and get back into the swing of things. The Xanax will prevent the panic, so I will sleep and not throw up all night, so I will go to work and be successful.
Anyone else have panic that swells while your sleeping and crescendos as you're waking up from a dream leaving you in a cold sweat and running for the bathroom? I know it's a medical condition like an allergy to flowers, or diabetes and nothing to be ashamed of anymore
I'm 5'8" and determined to make a change now.
