I can relate to this type of anxiety. Except I have one specific problem. Mine causes extreme chest pain and sometimes I think I am having a heart attack. Now that I recognize this I carry anti-anxiety with me all the time because I only take it as needed. When the chest pain starts I take one of pills and then try to relax.

Hello all! My name is Sara and I'm 20 years old, going on 21. I've just recently been diagnosed with anxiety (so far, it's just panic disorder, but it may be GAD). I'm in my third year of college.
My anxiety has sort of manifested itself in hypochondriasis. Every ache, pain, little anomaly I have is automatically the worst case scenario and such. I've been to four different doctors (the last one just laughed at me when I told her I was anxious about something with my health, didn't even give me a once over, and sent me on my way... needless to say, I got a new doctor and I'm seeing him on Monday). My hypochondria seems to dissipate once a doctor tells me there's nothing to worry about. I've gone to one therapist who referred me to another. I see her next week (hopefully) for the first time.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all! :)
