that is soooo cool!!! i love doing halfs. they are so much fun. try to find someone to do it with you, but if you can't, do it anyway. i do all mine by myself now... all my fellow runners in the area have given up, but i am still out there. work up your miles slowly and be sure to cross train to help prevent injury. check out some of the strengthening excersizes here on SC. it will definitely help...WELCOME

my name is Charity and I really want to be able to run my first half by next year. I was doing some research on my family heritage and found out that my family is part of the original McCoy's (from the Hatfield and McCoy's) so I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to run in the Hatfield and McCoy 1/2 marathon next year.
