Did your physio actually say that walking a HM is ok with your injury? It's my understanding that walking is just as irritating to ITB as running.

Hi Everyone

just joined this team as want to get connected with people going through what I am

I am registered to a 1/2 waking marathon in May, was going to run it but injured by IT band and physio says no can do so i have joined a walking 1/2 marathon clinic and enjoying it and making new friends.

also planning on partcipating in the Seattle 1/2 in June 22, anyone doing this one?

also trying to get my groove and motivation back, almost reached goal weigh in august 2013 and now have lost my motivation and trying hard.

I hope to meet up with some fellow walkers and learn from each other.
