First some background: I am a new runner. I started running in April or May of last year and completed the C25K program. I have run a couple of 5k's and can run 4 miles easily. There is a HM I'm very interested in running in April, 17 weeks from now. I plan to use Hal Higdon's novice training program, which is a 12 week plan (gives me a little bit of cushion).
Anyway, do you think it's too soon for me to consider doing a HM? I don't have any time goals in mind. All I want to do is finish it by running most of it.
