That's fantastic. I've been teaching for over two years and I still love it!!!. I've lost about 30 pounds and kept it off for a while now. I still write EVERYTHING down in my paper journal and teach Zumba 2-5 times a week and do 'Boot camp" 2-half hours a week and lift heavy weights 2 hours a week. I still have to watch waht I eat but I'm maintaining aroung 125 right now. I was NEVER this active in my life. At 53, I'm very proud to be a fit as I can be. Come to think of it, I need some new photos here. But I can't do it without my kid's help, Oh well. Be well and keep moving.

WW gave me the tools and Zumba gave me the motivation and confidence to keep going. I'm happy with who I am now.
Hello everyone! I'm tburbey (bet you figured that one out ). I'm new to the Sparkpeople boards. Been a member for 2 years now I think - but as I don't use the nutrition or fitness trackers (I cruise through here for articles), I haven't been that "active" here.
I am active with an online Bible study program that focuses on healthier living and balancing our lives (First Place 4 Health). That takes up most of my time. But I am currently beginning my journey at becoming not only a Zumba instructor but a personal trainer/weight management coach. Been doing Zumba for well over a year now - totally addicted. And I have lost about 80 lbs personally over the last 4 years.
Not sure how much time I will have to join in here once my classes start up - but wanted to at least introduce myself and let you all I may be lurking
