Hi! I just got going on SP early March ........... Just joining here as I love Zumba~Definitely one of my most favorites for exercise ............ Bought the Beto Perez 7 DVDs not long ago and love it ......... Sometimes I think, "Ok .......... Just do 20 min or so but always I end up doing the whole 45 min. workout ................. Is one great calorie burner and toner. So fun. Jan

Hello! I am new to this group and have only taken 1 Zumba class. I am anxious to try it again, I'm still recovering from major knee surgery I had in November but I am ready to move!...just hope I don't make a fool out of myself lol :)
Yeah- my daughter goes-when she isn't working or busy with homework ;) She's a senior and actually- one of the girls she goes to school with teaches there 5 nights a week - we go to different classes though ;)
She likes it-but definitely likes the instructor who did the BD classes best :)
she usually ends up going once a week with me- and has taken friends a couple times too

Hello! I was looking for belly dance classes in my area for my 18yr old daughter and I (after moving) and found a Zumba studio very closeby that had a BD class- I was excited (having taken classes off and on for 3 yrs) and when I got there it was this crazy cardio class using BD moves-that I was not expecting! It was fun though but sadly, after 2 classes (they were only on Tuesday night) they announced it would be replaced with a Zumba toning class. I was seriously bummed. I had wondered about Zumba-but it scared me...so I finally decided that if I was going to try it -I'd go to the class when the same teacher was doing it. I was terrified the first night I went- but I liked it- so I went back and now I've been going 2-3 times a week for about 2 months. I officially love it, even if I still have issues with steps here and there- but it gets more fun every week :) I have a bunch of weight to lose and this is a fun way to do it!
