Aloha, Thank you for replying. Yes, you are far away. I am more interested in a teacher who has good rhythm and is a good dancer. I used to dance Salsa and I would get bored if the teacher is not musical. Yes, I do hurt afterwards and I am holding out for a Tania lol Don't know about a Zumbathon. I can barely do one hour but I do it full force Mahalo
I live close to Kaiser High School, Koko Head. Far from Makaha. Reinna is our Zumba instructor. She's a really good teacher. Very easy to follow and we do toning with sticks once a week. You could check the zumba.com site for classes closer to you. I have the dvd which helped with the basic steps. Hopefully one day we'll meet up at a Zumbathon.
Take care. A hui hou. Val

I've been attending Zumba classes for the last 12 months. I stopped for three months due to a nasty accident but I've been back for three months. I've had two knee surgeries and rotator cuff injury. I may not be the most coordinated student but I really enjoy it. We do one day of toning which I've come to love!
BTW, it's storming here. Bad lightening & thunder. Flash flood warning over the state. Other than that life is good in Hawaii.
