Bought 2 Zumba dvds today and tried the basic video first, have to say that I don't think I burned as many calories as I could because it was hard to keep up with the changing steps and combinations. I am sure that after a couple of times it will get easier, but it was fun. Can't wait to work out tomorrow.

I am very new to Zumba. I did my first workout this morning, and it was very awkward but SO much fun. I hate to workout, but Zumba is not like working out at all. I think I have found the perfect fit for me. Now, I just have to find some rhythm, because I have none.

HI. I started taking zumba in december when my rec center offered a discount through the month of December and I loved it. It is so fun and energic. So I signed up in January paying full price! I take it Tues and thurs for an hour. Last night I finally felt like I was catching on- lol but still alittle off. but I saw a few others get lost and laugh so thats what I started doing. The lady who watches Lydia there told me to wear her calorie watch and it said I burned like 764 calories in an hour! Wow I'm impressed! Wish I hadn't waited so long!
