Hi Kristie! Sounds like we have a lot in common ~ starting time, age, amount to lose & love for Zumba!! I just started it 6 months ago & am hooked!! I was excited to find this team but it is painfully quiet so I thought I would say HI!!!
Well, I've been a SparkPeople member for almost two years, and this is my first-ever post. I lost 20 pounds thanks to SP in the spring of 2010, then sort of let things lapse a bit. Haven't gained any back, but would still like to lose another 15-20. I started exercising regularly a little over a year ago, and I love Zumba! I try to attend class three times a week at the Y. My 40th birthday is in eight weeks - yikes! I'm putting a lot of pressure on myself to get in shape for this milestone, so I'm trying hard to get back on the diet, as well. I figure I'll see great results if I'm exercising AND watching what I eat. I felt compelled to post on this page because I was excited to find a Zumba-related team. Zumba rocks!
