I have been doing the dvd's for a couple of months and love them. The nice thing about them is they are there when I am ready to work out. I am hooked and doing them at least 6 days a week.

If you have the opportunity to go to class, go. Try different teachers (they are all a bit different from each other). Find a place you feel comfortable with the room, music, teacher, routine, etc. You deffinitely do not have to be a pro, the teacher should be though.

WW gave me the tools and Zumba gave me the motivation and confidence to keep going. I'm happy with who I am now.
Don't wait! The classes will be completely different from the DVDs anyway. Many of the steps you will recognize, but seriously, do not worry about "being a pro" before going.
I've been teaching Zumba for 2 1/2 years and I'm a crazy mess when I go to another instructor's class if I don't know the routine. And it's rare to know one of them. :)
Just go! Live classes are GREAT!

Zumba Instructor Profile:
Hey all! I've only been doing Zumba for about one month and I love it! I have the dvd's and try to do at least 60 minutes three times a week. I also do other workouts but Zumba is definitely the one I look forward to the most. Eventually I would like to try a class but until Im a pro I think I will wait!
