I definitely agree. Do it, you'll love it if you enjoy dancing. And try different places and teachers as everyone is a little different. You'll find somewhere that clicks with you and then you can really let go. Zumba is so much fun!! And it really doesn't feel like excersise (but it is). I became an instructor and I love it even more.

I think a change of your workout will definitely help break your plateau! Good luck!
Wear something you can move well in, something you'll be comfortable in, but prepare to sweat like mad! Shoes - you want something you can move in side to side and good support, and if you happen to have a shoe with low tread, that's great, otherwise wear what you have and pick up your feet. Don't pivot on heavy tread shoes.

I'm going to take a 4-5 week class, once a week, starting Thursday. I just had the thought though - that I don't know what kind of shoes or clothes to wear!!
I hope that once a week will do something. I'm going on vacation in October to see my boyfriend, been four months, and I've been stuck in my normal routine (even after starting the C25K program) so I'm really hoping that this will help!
My goal was to lose 11 pounds by mid-Oct, and I haven't budged in a month. :( We'll see!
