you know, i've been trying to come up with a good description of zumba. while it has helped me lose 25 lbs, it has done more than that. how many times have you been dancing that you actually were sad or down and out? usually, it lifts my spirits, as well as getting a great workout! you know the saying,"Work like you don't need money, Love like you've never been hurt, And dance like no one's watching." I think this is overused, but in Zumba, you can dance like no one is watching because you are all there doing the same thing and no one is perfect! Some of the best dancers I've seen have been chunky, while some girls with the best bodies (stereotypical) are trying so hard to get their hips to move. So, its sort of great therapy! I'm so glad you are loving zumba! keep up the good work!
That was the same experience I had as well! Keep having fun!!

I just started sparkpeople and am a little rusty not sure how to use everything just yet. But I must share how much I love Zumba I always hated to exercise I never understood why some people just love it. But now I do cause I am just a dancing fool with Zumba and getting the exercise I need to meet my goals. I take Zumba at the YMCA and have encouraged my co-worker to join. We both just love it.
