What helped me was listening to Fat 2 Fit which I found as a free download on itunes. It is 2 guys one helping the other on his weight loss journey. I would listen to them while on the computer or while working out on my exercise bike. I would find while in the grocery store their advice in the back of my mind keeping me from buying the wrong things. Last year i lost 22 lbs and have kept off the weight. I am starting to do more exercise again after an injury a few weeks ago and hope to lose 60 lbs to reach my weight goal. Slow but steady - by the way I am 60 years old - I found out the weight loss had gotten my past high blood pressure normal and I am looking forward to easing the wear on my joints with the weight being lost.
If you think the fat looks bad on the outside imagine what it looks like and is doing to your insides!

Hi Draygona! I would recommend that you try to get very clear about your reasons to lose weight. What is your motivation and what are your goals? Use this to inspire you. Work on a inspiration board (like a poster with pictures, words, quotes) or a scrapbook to inspire you. And try to get 50+ or 100 sparkpoints every day. ;) Doing that will get you on here focusing and learning and getting motivated. Best of luck!
