I joined a month ago but with all the hours I have had to put into work for the Holidays have not been real active yet and going forward hope to get more involved. I also am a Solitary and your posting reminds me of how much I miss the group rituals. My work schedule is evenings and weekends so the internet is a great tool to help you refocus. If you have done aura/chakra cleansing it really helps reenergize you.
If you think the fat looks bad on the outside imagine what it looks like and is doing to your insides!
Hello folks - I'm looking forward to getting to know some like-minded Sparkpagans! A bit about me: I'm 39, and I'm predominantly a solitary eclectic, though I am blessed to have kindred in my community, and I participate in many group rituals and activities. At the core, however, is my personal connection to the Lord & Lady.
Why did I join Spark people? Over the last few years I've experienced quite a bit of loss, depression and emotional turmoil. During that time, I strayed from my own spiritual practice, became more and more of a "hermit" and also gained a lot of weight. Now, I am determined to begin anew, and I have been working on my emotional health. It's time to tackle the physical health part, and also to finally reach out to other people for support.
Finding Spark People was a "happy accident", or synchronicity, and I believe this group, and others, are a great step towards healing. I also hope I can be supportive to others in the group who may need a few kind words.
