It sounds like you have friends who want to help you, too. I know it's hard, but you should let them help. Since you don't want to tell them when to go to the gym, offer two or three times that work for you. They can choose what works for them. You deserve to be healthy. Take charge and take the help being offered and do it! I have faith in you!

Genettte I know how hard it is to have to walk thru that door by yourself. I don't know where you are from but I am in Caldwell. I workout daily at Nampafitstudio. It is not a "gym" like Axiom or Anytime Fitness. The classes are small and everyone is so welcoming. Half the trainers were overweight themselves at some point in their lives and went on to pay it forward in the lives of others. I started going Dec 20th 2011. My weight was 357. I now weigh 263. 6# away from 100# lost. I participated in the Canyon County Weightloss Challenge (after doing it last year and quitting because I wasnt surrounded by the right kind of support and gained weight the 2nd month) this year and I was on a team with the studio. My team blew every other team out of the water the 2nd month with our losses. In the end we were the number one team, lost 25% of the weight out of every person competing and I was 13th out of a little over 250 people. Now my team and I have come so used to working out on Sundays and sharing successes and failures we meet on our own and take turns leading a workout. Hello, my name is Genette and a friend of my referred me to livestrong.com. I'm glad they did. I am nervous about doing this. Sometimes I feel alone. My husband is very supportive, but he really doesn't need to exercise with me. We have been throwing money down the drain at a gym. I am afraid of walking through the doors by myself. I have had a few people offer to go with me, but I want them to tell me when they are ready to go. I know they have a busier life then I do.
Would love to team up with someone locally to do these workouts with. I am fairly new to everything.
