How can I keep it short and simple?
February of 06, my husband passed away. I spent my grieving time just walking. I would walk around my neighborhood twice a day. Sometimes three. After awhile, I would move my route to the Camelsback Park and do that in the mornings when i get up and again after dinner. i felt like I was in the best shape ever.
Unfortunately, I haven't done that for three years. Since then, I met my sweetie at school and we both have two sons together. I know I can't shed these baby pounds overnight but I lack a support team. What better support than you guys?
I decided to register for the 32nd annual idaho famous potato half marathon and following a training schedule to help me prepare for it. I have a treadmill here at home and it seems like the only time i can use it is when the kids go to bed. I am looking into membership at the YMCA. The weather is warming up and soon i will have a double jogging stroller for my boys.
instead of just losing pounds, my goal is to fit in a single digit sized jeans. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
